What you runnin'?
This website is built using Ruby on the Rails framework. It's hosted, along with a number of other apps, on a fairly hefty Debian Etch-based machine and the content you see before you is being served up by the Apache web server. Posts, comments, and other such data is being stored in a MySQL database (SQLite) during development). Oh, and there's a Mongrel or two somewhere in the mix, additionally taking care of any load balancing.
UPDATE (10/2/2009): As of today, this shit is running on the Passenger module for Apache and I love it to bits.
Can I have the code?
Absolutely. I certainly don't claim that it's any better than any of the open-source blogging engines out there (such as the wonderful Mephisto), but it's always nice having a system you can easily maintain on your lonesome. Let it be known though, that unless I am publicly giving out a download link to the source - it's probably not what I would consider ready for public consumption. If you want it though, get it touch.
